More visiting recruits and a commitment! You got to be kidding, right?
Oh how the times have changed these past few months.

Many have been questioning how Kentucky and coach Gillispie have been able to do what they’ve been doing, while Tubby Smith was failing.

K.C. Miller Commits
Kentucky picks up 2nd recruit for 2010.
6-foot PG K.C. Miller from Dallas-God’s Academy, has committed to the Wildcats.
I went down there and I loved it,” Miller said. “I don’t think there’s any school better than that so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.”

Rotnei Clarke
After also making a visit to the wildcats this past weekend: Rotnei Clarke says he doesn’t have a favorite right now, but Kentucky will rank high when he narrows it down.
Leonard Washington
Washington was one of the other recruits who made a visit to Kentucky over the weekend.
After visiting, Washington is mulling his future and says a decision can come as early as today, or may take some more time.

Rival’s Jerry Myers opens his mailbag. He takes a look at the “Liggins Effect”, and how this may affect UK’s recruiting.
Louisville made it official…Walter McCarty has reunited with Rickie Boy, and became Louisville’s newest assistant coach.
I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be back with Coach,” McCarty said at a news conference. “To be back here with him, it means a lot.”
Former wildcat great Kyle Macy is returning to his roots, and will be holding a basketball camp in Peru during the week of July 4.
Recruits Rotnei Clarke and KC Miller are scheduled to make a visit to Lexington this weekend.
Update: The visits were made…
The father of Rotnei Clarke states his son loves Kentucky and doesn’t want to wait too long on a decision.
It could be August or it could be sooner. But it will likely be before the season. We know though you cant wait forever. Rotnei doesn’t want to wait too long and then be somewhere else watching Kentucky win championships on television.”
Word coming out is that KC Miller is “99%” sure he wants to play at Kentucky.
Kentucky is going after another…
They are taking a look at Former Syracuse player Mike Jones. He was scheduled to be on campus this weekend.
