Literally, Big Blue Madness

Brett Dawson reports that as of 12:50pm, 90 tents were setup waiting for Big Blue Madness tickets.

This absolutely doesn’t surprise me at all. After all this is Kentucky!

Brett ponders the question…When was the last time there was this kind of crossover of football and basketball excitement at UK?

That is a good question and makes you think back. I don’t really remember when both programs were at this such high level of enthusiasm. You could maybe look back in the Tim Couch days when football was a little exciting for the fans.

Brett brings up 1977-78, that’s probably it, but as mentioned, the bowl ineligibility did put somewhat of a damper on it.

In the meantime…I’m happy that fans of both programs have so much excitement. It’s long overdue for the football program.

Now, If Kentucky can pull off victories over LSU and Florida, could you imagine what that would be like?
