Jodie Meeks is still having lingering effects. His status for the game is uncertain, so he may or may not play.

Coach Gillispie did say the other day he’s hopeful Jodie will be practicing at full speed real soon.

Kentucky

The wildcats will try to bounce back from Tuesday’s 41 point loss at Vanderbilt.

Kentucky sits 2nd in the SEC East standings with a conference record of 6-3.

LSU

LSU comes into the game riding high off their 85-73 upset over Florida in Gainesville on Wednesday.

Currently ranks 5th in the SEC West standings with a conference record of 2-7.

Preview Thoughts

This is definitely going to be an interesting game for Kentucky.

There are questions that will need to be answered. A couple of the most obvious being…How will the ‘Cats respond after the crazy loss to Vanderbilt? Can they put the loss behind them?

I think it’s important for Kentucky to keep winning and finish strong the rest of the season. Their confidence may of taken a little hit, but there’s nothing better than a win to boost it back up.

Most will agree that Kentucky will unlikely receive an at large bid for the NCAA Tournament. There are still games to be played and won, the season is not over. Who knows what the SEC Tournament may hold.
