Seth Davis wants to disappoint

It seems there is always someone who tries to knock down “Big Blue Nation”. If we’re happy, they’re not!

In his ‘Hoop Thoughts‘ article, dUKie Seth Davis says he’s hearing that Patrick Patterson is seriously considering turning pro.

On the other hand…

Matt Jones says not so fast! Unless there is a drastic change and he’s believed to be a top 5 pick, he’ll be back.

Let’s face it. The majority know that Patterson will likely leave early at some point, but after this year? I also don’t see this happening. At the earliest it would most likely be after next season.

Judging by Billy Gillispie’s response yesterday, he knows Patterson will have a decision to make also.

You would like to keep everyone for four years, but that’s not realistic in today’s world.

But I don’t think he meant after this season. From all takes, Patterson, along with his family are loving their time at UK.

Bottom line…No guarantees, but I don’t see it happening after this year.
