Sweep Complete: Kentucky holds off Georgia 61-55

Kentucky completes the season sweep holding off the Georgia Bulldogs 61-55.
Senior Joe Crawford led the way for the ‘Cats with 23 points. While Freshman Patrick Patterson added 20 points, along with 9 boards.
With the help of three Joe Crawford 3-pointers, Kentucky built a 16 point lead early (20-4) . Georgia came storming back, but the Wildcats managed to take a 37-30 halftime lead.
The second half seen both an offensive and defensive struggle by both teams. Georgia had chances to tie, getting within 3 points on more than one occasion, but just couldn’t convert. Kentucky held off the Bulldogs down the stretch and managed to pull out the win.
Kentucky now runs their record to 14-10, 8-3 in the SEC.
