February 27, 2008 - 10:59 pm

Kentucky looked well on their way to an easy victory, but Ole Miss decided on putting up a fight.

After charging to a 23 point lead in the first half, the ‘Cats nearly give it away at the end.

Ole Miss cut into that lead going into halftime down only 31 -14.

The second half seen Ole Miss continue chipping away, getting within 4 points at one point. Kentucky held strong most of the way, until the .26 mark when Ole Miss’ Chris Warren hit a three to get within two.

With 11 seconds remaining, the Rebels missed a three to take the lead. UK’s Ramel Bradley gets fouled and knocks down two free throws to seal the win. This was after he failed to make his previous two attempts.

Joe Crawford and Patrick Patterson led Kentucky with 15 points a piece. Ramel Bradley finishes with 14 points and 5 boards.

The Rebels were led by Chris Warren with 25 points, on 7-21 shooting.
