End of an era
Joe Crawford and Ramel Bradley are closing out an era. The last two left from from a star studded recruiting class, which also included Rajon Rondo and Randolph Morris.
Legacy
It’s been an up and down career at UK, but with Joe Crawford’s SEC play, he’s leaving an positive legacy.
Leadership
Down the stretch and when it counts. Ramel Bradley has shown the leadership the team has needed.
“… It’s been very gratifying. To know where I came from, it just shows my growth, my improvement. It’s a great position to be in, as a senior, that’s how you want to be looked at, as the leader of the team.”

Part Ways
From the Georgetown News-Graphic. The barely used Jared Carter should look elsewhere next season.
There has been talk of this for some time now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s one of the players that may be leaving at season’s end.
As the stories mentions…
“With only so many scholarships to pass around, someone will have to turn in their jersey.” “Besides, at 7-foot-2, 262 pounds, it only takes one solid season to have a shot at professional ball at least overseas if not on the mainland.”
This would probably be best for both parties. This would give Jared a chance to do well elsewhere and further his chance at something good for his future.
Patterson Update
Surgery is likely on Patrick Patterson’s fractured ankle, this after doctors have recommended it.
The surgery is routine and the recovery period is usually six to eight weeks.
