Prototype vehicles are where it's at. They give a glance into the not so distant future of motor vehicle layout, and are stylish to take a look at, and evaluate. twenty one-year-old Eastern stylist Yuhan Zhang created a new hovercraft called the Aqua. Way back in the year 2011 a proposal was put forward at the Automobile Design Awards 2011, financed by Volkswagon and other car maker giants from around the globe. The is a mix of an automobile, spaceship and power boat, something you might come across in an online video game. It is valued at just below 20k USD and for the money you get a three-hundred mile range and a vehicle that can be refueled by renewable sources in well under sixty minutes.
Climbing in and out is achieved by negotiating the hatch-way around the rear of the vehicle - technical info. The rest of the vehicle's various features are just like a standard street car or small truck. It's not too obvious if this prototype will eventually be produced, but it if was this vehicle could be energized using fuel cells. The hydrogen fuel based engine fills and expands the skirt, and provides the power to life the vehicle from any surface. Two more engines are fixed at the back and provide extra lift for the rear. A couple of large fans in the front provide enough forward propulsion to push this baby along at up to 50 miles per hour.
The prototype was devised with the Chinese worker in view, and what's more, this hovercraft can hover over water or ice - just about the worst kind of surface you can imagine. Of course, most commuting will be done on standard roads, so progress should be assure. Maybe spring buffers or guides should be provided so that operators don't bang into each other, as I've read that they are not too precise when turning or stopping.
Whether it's feasible at this time to provide a hovercraft as a means of mass transit, this isn't really the issue. Prototypes like the Aqua push envelope and encourage us to live outside the box of human activity. This is one way we may stumble across an answer to a problem that could completely turn around certain industries. No one would have considered years ago we would see sports car completely electric powered, but they are happening now! t's not good to stay as we are and not dream a little. Only believe in the possibilities and magic will happen.
